A total of 240 people applied for Gothenburg Startup Hack
Over 70 teams, and a total of 240 people, have applied for Gothenburg Startup Hack, according to Cedrik Sjöblom, the marketing manager for the event.
The hack will take place May 3 2014 at Chalmerska Huset in Gothenburg, inside a bank vault. The hack is sponsored by big startup players such as Spotify, Dropbox, Antura, Burt and many more.
“Since the bank vault has its physical limits, we had to turn down 140 people – and not just any people – we are completely overwhelmed by the many good ideas that came in, and sorry that we had to turn down so many of them. However, we are very excited because we believe very strongly in the teams we have selected!”
Those who weren’t selected don’t have to feel too sorry, they will be referred to other opportunities such as incubators and maker spaces, Cedrik contiunees “We’ll also invite them to come to our talks and workshops held simultaneously in the same building as Gothenburg Startup Hack.”
