Wyberry Technologies Wins Award For New Technology For High-capacity Wireless Data Transfer
Four days ago, Wyberry Technologies were awarded “Framtidens Innovatör” (Innovator of the Future) by the organisation SKAPA and they were just announced as finalist in Tech20, by Almi Företagspartner.
Wyberry Technologies is based on a new technology for high-capacity wireless data transfer developed at Chalmers University of Technology. The technology is developed by researcher Simon Zhongxia He. Simon founded Wyberry Technologies in 2012 together with the entrepreneurs Dzana Damjanovic, Jens Kjellerup, Johan Wigelius and Encubator AB.
- The patent is based on a new method for analog signal processing which allows Wyberry to achieve market leading transmission rates. Our technology is as robust as cables, but much more flexible, says Dzana Damjanovic.
The new technology was appreciated by the jury at SKAPA and Wyberry Technologies was awarded the SKAPA price of 2014 in Västra Götaland (Editor’s note: region in Sweden). The jury’s motivation was: “A multi cultural team with international potential. The product facilitates great experiences with unique technology”.
The SKAPA price was establish in memory of Alfred Nobel and is awarded to inventors with innovative ideas. Wyberry Technologies was awarded 15 000 SEK with a chance to win more money at the national finale, where the grand prize is one million SEK.
