Ngenic Seals Deal With Energy Company
Starting this fall Upplands Energi will offer Ngenic Tune to their customers, the “Nordic Nest” we’ve previously written about. The product has been claimed to improve the indoor climate and reduced energy bills, through using weather forecasts and sunlight measurements in combination to an advanced algorithm.

This is an important step for the cleantech startup, as Upplands Energi has extensive experience of distributing heat pumps, Solar PV and other extended energy services to individuals and businesses.

According to the press release, this might lead to a deepened cooperation where the Ngenic Tune platform is embedded into other types of smart energy services, such as offering discounts on heating during certain times throughout the day as the network load or electricity prices varies.
