After hitting 5 million downloads, VisualDreams announce the follow up to Slam Dunk Basketball
VisualDreams, is a company founded in 2010 in Norrköping by three gaming entrepreneurs and has been called one of Sweden’s hottest mobile gaming studios by the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter. We wrote about them a few weeks back about their progress and the new game they are working on. They just announced the sequel to their best-seller, Slam Dunk Basketball, so I got in touch with their CEO, Kristofer Boman.
Slam Dunk Basketball achieved 5 million downloads across all platforms the world over. Now VisualDreams aims even higher with the sequel that will be available for download in early 2014. For Slam Dunk Basketball 2 we have really amped up the whole idea of sports games for mobile devices, not only visually but also socially. Sports are about measuring your skills against other people and that’s what we want Slam Dunk Basketball 2 to be.
I think it’s a great concept and I like the fact that Slam Dunk Basketball 2 takes place in a street basketball world where players challenge each other and hustle for cash. Earnings can be used to climb the ladder and compete against the best streetballers around the world.
